We said Spain wasn’t far. San Sebastian’s not just a short hop across the border, it’s our favourite city anywhere. Its beautiful architecture and broad sweep of amazing bay alone make it unmissable, but you need to factor in pintxos too. The Basque take on tapas, pintxos have made it to the UK now, but San Sebastian’s their home.
